Sonoma Bridal Style brings the Sonoma lifestyle calm to a day known for frayed nerves. Our on-location bridal and special event hair and makeup services are led by a 25 year hair design professional, Donna Henderson.

Donna has owned salons on both coasts: in Sonoma County, in Northern California and Central Massachusetts. Her clients' have included the top CEO's from "Telecom Valley North" .

Donna has worked under Judy Corey, (nominated for leading the hair teams in "Forest Gump" and "Shindler's List"), along with her daughter, Karen Huston, on "Patch Adams". Donna's other film credits include "Gattaca" and under Medusah for "Inventing the Abbots".

Donna has assisted the makeup departments on the aforementioned films and was the sole makeup artist for the Marin Designer Showcases' Fashion Shows.

Donna is currrently working for the hair departments on movies being filmed in Massachusetts and New England.

Donna believes in not just talking about something, but doing it! That's why she has decided to combine her expertise in hair design and makeup; so you can enjoy the experiences that are a big part of the Sonoma lifestyle.

That's why she went back to college and graduated 20 years after high school with a BA in Communication Studies from Sonoma State University--with a straight A average.

That's why she achieved a coverted internship at Lucas Film Ltd. at Skywalker Ranch in the breathtaking Marin County springtime. Donna worked in the Marketing Department of THX, the sound standard for movie theatres and film sound. (Her '64 Corvair was the 'sound' in Forest Gump, a coincidence to her working with Judy Corey, later on! Donna did what the sound engineer told her to do: slam the door, drive by at 20 mph, 30, 40, back up the car angry!)

Then she wanted to become an interior decorator, redesigner and real estate staging professional(she is a licensed real estate agent in MA). So she went to Erie, PA to train under the innovator of One Day Decorating, Redesign and Staging. If you need decorating or color consulting help, ask Donna!

And if all that wasn't enough, Donna Henderson is the inventor, patent and trademark holder of "The Wrap-it, The Sports Headband with a Twist®" a patented line of headbands that have a twist-tie to secure hair into a ponytail, ear buds or sports goggles, alone or together. A Love Affair with Hair!

Donna's love affair with hair and makeup has remained constant, during all her pursuits and interests. Donna knew at 13 years old she wanted to 'do' hair and 25 years later she's still does!

Anyone can learn to cut hair, but not everyone has an innate talent for assessing, listening, creating that one-of-a-kind hair design unique to your features, hair texture, length and color. Donna does. Combine her training with Goldwell hair color and useage since 1984, her representing ABBA products and on-going education and you've got a talent, and gift unique to her.
